We’re all in this together…
JamVans are fully operational with the safety of all at the forefront of every move. We have special measures in place when carrying out removals for both our teams and clients. View our Covid-19 precautions here Covid – 19 Measures
To give you greater peace of mind with your upcoming moving plans, we’ve introduced a temporary no change fees policy during the Coronavirus pandemic from 12th March 2020, meaning you can carry on with your relocation plans as close to ‘normal’ as possible.
Covid-19 Coronavirus Temporary amendments to terms and conditions
If you wish to book a removal service in, under normal circumstances in our BAR terms you are bound by our cancellation and postponement terms under section 6. These terms are written by the British Association or Removers, in adherence the trading standards code or practice.
However, we are offering all future bookings until further notice, the ability to change the date FREE OF CHARGE for the first time if you wish to postpone the removal. Each further change of date is charged at our normal postponement rate of 10% of the value of the removal (excluding transit/storage insurance). This does not apply if you wish to cancel. If cancellation is requested, our normal cancellation terms under section 6 shall apply, and refund given if applicable. We hope that this will give clients confidence in knowing that if JamVans are to be your chosen provider, as a consumer you’ll have an extra layer of protection. Should the initial free postponement waiver be exercised, a new postponement waiver would have to be purchased at point of the new date selected.
The new move date must be completed on or before the 30th April 2021. Re-booked moves will be subject to availability and any differences in costs, for example if you change the move to a Sunday, additional labour costs would apply.
We hope that this will clarify our terms and conditions and include measures that will add confidence knowing that should you opt to accept our quotation and book with us, extra measures of protection have been added.
